The way that we breathe has a huge impact on our state of mind. When life feels stressful, our breath is one of the quickest tools we can reach into to draw ourselves back to place of calm. This workshop will explore a range of breathing techniques to feel more grounded, calm and relaxed.
The workshop will guide you through some simple movement practices to open up the rib cage and diaphragm (essential for healthy breathing patterns). We will then explore a range of calming breathing techniques; some practiced as we gently flow and others soaked up in stillness. You will leave with a little toolbox of techniques to carry with you into life as and when you need.
