Is your spine or lower back quietly impacting your yoga practice and lifestyle—acting like a handbrake when you move, twist or fold? Have you stopped doing certain poses because of restriction or pain, and you are not sure why or how to work with it? We will begin with a brief check-in to see what you can and cannot comfortably do right now, and how your injury history might be shaping your journey. Key reference points will include the pelvic–lumbar spine and pelvic–femoral relationship.
If you have been told you are “wonky,” that one leg is longer than the other, that you are hypermobile, or you wake up and go to bed with a stiff back, this session is for you. This is not just for bodyworkers and movers, but for anyone curious about their body and health—you are all welcome.
A calm, small-group session to explore how your spine really moves, notice your habits, and understand why familiar poses do not feel as comfortable—and why pushing through might not be serving you - with time to feel, question and be curious rather than push.
