The healthy functioning of our immune system has probably never been more on our minds than now. Staying as well as we can requires that our immune system is functionating optimally and this workshop will explore a whole range of ways that yoga can support us with this.
The practice will combine gentle, somatic movements that support lymphatic flow (the lymphatic system is our body’s immune circulatory system); slow, flowing sequences to balance our nervous system, enabling us to find an inner sense of strength and steadiness; the latter part of the session will bring us into deep rest and stillness which is so essential for our immune system.
Come with pillows and blankets galore for an afternoon to move, breathe, rest and replenish.
