Whether you are a parent, teacher, caregiver in any capacity, when it comes to promoting the wellbeing of children, the science is clear - supporting adult wellbeing is important. This workshop provides psychologically and science informed ideas, with simple, holistic and practical tools to incorporate into your everyday life. You will have an understanding of what emotional regulation is and what impacts it, tools that can support in trickier moments, and when they might be more / less beneficial, and that as unique and complex humans in different contexts, no one size fits all. There will be a mindful exercise and a reflective practice to start exploring these ideas for yourself, in the session and afterwards, to continue cultivating practices for nourishing YOU.
