Ancestral Sound Ceremony with Ratna Shah

You are warmly invited to this immersive sound ceremony of ten spaces, where personalised and focused one-to-one attention will be given with the relaxing sounds of a family of full moon Nepalese singing bowls, tone of life gong, and other soothing instruments, along with voice, breath, meditation, and Reiki energy.

Together, we will honour those we have lost and those who walked before us — human and more-than-human — and tend to the threads that connect us across time, place, and species. You are welcome to bring a photo, object, or symbol of any ancestor or beloved being you wish to honour. These will be placed on a shared altar as part of our collective remembrance.

This is a time of year when many traditions mark the thinning of the veil between worlds — from Samhain in Celtic lands, to Día de los Muertos in Mexico, to Pitru Paksha in India. We will open a space to listen, to honour, and to invite the wisdom of our ancestors to guide our steps in these turbulent times and help us become the ancestors we wish to be for future generations.

Please note: sound immersion is not recommended for those in the first trimester of pregnancy, those with metal implants in the body, those with severe mental health conditions, or those who have sound-induced epilepsy.

Price: £30 (concessions available - email the studio)
